Roberto Nardi receives an award for safeguarding Sardinian heritage

On October 27th 2014 Attilio Mastino, Dean of the University of Sassari, awarded a medal to CCA founder and director Roberto Nardi for the CCA’s commitment to the safeguard of Sardinian heritage shown through conservation work carried out at the prehistoric necropolis of Sant'Andrea Priu, on the Nuragic sculptures from Mont'e Prama and on the Roman villa at Sant'Imbenia.

Memorandum of Understanding signed between CCA and the General Director of the Jordanian Department of Antiquities

Roberto Nardi, CCA director and Monther Jamhawi, General Director of the Jordanian Department of Antiquities signed a Memorandum of Understanding on October 28th regarding a series of training courses for members of the Department of Antiquities. The Mosaic Conservation Courses (MCC) will take place in CCA’s operational headquarters in Belmonte in Sabina between 2014 and 2016.

Conference by Roberto Nardi on the 23rd of May 2014 at Institut National du Patrimoine, Tunisia

On the 23rd of May 2014, Prof. Roberto Nardi will give a lecture at the Institut National du Patrimoine (INP), Tunisia.
The event will take place at 10.00am in Driba Hall, in the headquarters of INP.
The topic of the lecture will be "The conservation of the mosaic of the Transfiguration in the monastery of Saint Catherine in Sinai". He will present the conservation project carried out by Centro di Conservazione Archeologica (CCA), Rome, from 2005 to today.
